Because I cannot give you access to the actual application, I did a quick screenr video describing this powerful tool.
I built this “template styling” tool back in early 2011 for internal use to improve efficiencies within the creative group. The tool is built dynamically so that you can edit any template.
Along with the Self-Service tool, each template was also built on a framework that i engineered, so that every library template has consistent code and works well with the tool. The framework for each template has also increased production time, and we have been able to greatly increase our amount of library templates. We can now develop a library template and have it ready for consumption within a few days of design completion.
This has greatly improved the overhead costs associated with implementing a library template for a client. Profit margins have increased substantially since implementing this tool.
